Located in Alquézar, one of most emblematic towns of the Sierra de Guara natural park, is the Alodia rural hotel. This tiny hotel has been recreated on an old mansion's ruins in the architectural style of the area, with a stone façade, wood balconies and brick eaves, typical of Aragon. At the foot of the Pyrenees, the town has been declared a Conjunto Histórico Artístico. The hotel has four floors and has just two romantic rooms - one double room and one suite. They are ensuite with modern bathrooms and are comfortably decorated with unpolished marble, wood beams, antique furniture and high quality linens. Both rooms have television, heating and air conditioning and they share a common room where breakfast is served. It is possible to add an extra bed to the suite for 25 euros. Alquézar is a medieval town that was created from a fortress built in the the nineth century by the Arabs, situated inside the Sierra de Guara Natural Park. The inn is on the wine route and the inn has its own bodega. Only breakfast is served at this inn (included in the price of your room) but there are some excellent restaurants in the vicinity. There is a two night minimum stay at this inn.
Family Information
An extra bed may be placed in the suite for 25 euros.
Notes
Activities: walks along the old paths, ravine descents, visit Somontano Winery, visit the cobachos with cave painting. Climbing, biking and horseriding in the vicinity. Sitting on a hilltop, Alquézar is a delightful maze of streets dominated by the collegiate church. The Colegiata was then rebuilt as a church in 1530.

Alquezar was a treat to visit and a very charming village. We loved the town and the little "hotel" (we had the only two rooms) was one of our favorites. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The suite had an amazing view from the bedroom and the breakfast was excellent.

It would be nice if there were the makings of tea in the room, but I realise that isn't too common in Spain.

One of the nicest places we have EVER stayed at. 11/10! Beautiful decor, fantastic (and very generous) breakfast, fabulous view of the town and the castle from our bedroom window. Luis, the owner was very helpful and informative, recommended a lovely restaurant. Wish we could have stayed longer! Also a beautiful area for walking and exploring.
