There is a surcharge for one night stays of € 10,00 extra per room. The hotel will take a 25% deposit upon booking and the remaining amount 4 weeks prior to arrival. If you stay for seven consecutive nights there will be a 5% discount, or 14 consecutive nights a 7.5% discount.
Casa Don Carlos is located about 24 kilometres from Malaga airport, in the countryside close to Coin. It is a simple guesthouse that makes a perfect base for exploring Ronda, Sevilla, Jerez and Cadiz - or to just relax by the pool. Owned and run in a friendly way by a Dutch couple, there are just five double guestrooms, each with its own full bathroom with shower. There is a big livingroom with a fireplace for the rare cold evenings and there is satellite TV there. The hall has a small desk with information about Alhaurín el Grande and Andalusia. For youre laptop or PDA WIFI is available. Outside there is the cosy plaza, an outdoor living room, a kitchen with a barbecue, a large dining table, and several places to sit inthe sun or shade. At the foot of the rock wall is the swimming pool (complete with sunbeds and bathrobes). In the garden-in-progress are olive, lemon and almond trees. The breakfast buffet is served outside on the plaza between 09.00 and 10.30 hrs. and consists of various breads, cheeses, sliced meats, sweets, eggs, orange juice, coffee or tea. Lunch or dinner (order in advance) might be a cold gazpacho, wrap with tuna, goatcheese salad or an omelette, or local fish. Dinner is served table d'hote style at 21:30 and will be local fish, meat or pasta - the choice is up to Carlo and the market. Stay for a night or a week....very relaxing.
Meal Information
International cuisine available upon request. The host normally doesn't cook on Sundays.
Notes
In the forested areas south-east of the village of Alhaurín el Grande there are traces of Neolithic occupation: silent witnesses to the long history of human habitation of the area. A history longer than history itself. In the small plaza in front of the town hall, the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, are three Roman columns which were discovered close by at Fuente del Sol. Unlike some other villages in the hills, Alhaurín el Grande acknowledges that it has a history, and is quietly proud of it. The plaza has a superb view of the valley.

Location and setting were beautiful (although a bit difficult to find).Flowers were in abundance everywhere, adding to the charm. Hosts were gracious & attentive without hovering. Room with private bath were tasteful, comfortable and spotless. Pool was lovely, but without handrails to aid in the descent, it was too difficult for this senior to attempt.
