Awaiting 2012 prices from the hotel. This beautiful country house consists of a group of refurbished buildings dating back to the 15th and 17th centuries. The architectural features of the original structures have been preserved. Surrounded by the magnificent natural landscapes of the Picos de Europa mountain range and the Deva and Cares rivers, it is an ideal place to enjoy tranquillity and nature. Bedrooms are uniquely designed with wooden windows and doors, dried flowers and beautiful fabrics. The dining room, complete with fireplace, is a warm setting for breakfast. The hotel is located 50 km from Santander and has six double guestrooms. Meals are not served at the inn, and there are no restaurants in the village, but Panes is only 3 miles away (10 minute drive) and there are several restaurants there. This is mainly a "walkers" inn, with fabulous hiking for miles around.
Notes Walking, horseriding, fishing, mineral searching,canoeing. Historical routes: Santillana del Mar, Covadonga, Comillas. Nearby beaches. Ryan Air flys from the UK (Stansted airport) to Santander airport. Brittany Ferries sails from Plymouth to Santander twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays. P and O Ferries offers sailings from Portsmouth to Bilbao.

For stays of 1 or 2 nights: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled within seven days of reservation the hotel will charge the amount of one night.
For stays of 3 nights or more: if cancelled within seven days of reservation, hotel will charge 30% of entire stay. In cases where client has booked three or more nights and shortens the number of days reserved (upon arrival or during stay), the hotel will charge 30% of the cost of the remaining nights. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
Balearic & Canary Islands
If cancelled between fifteen and eight days of reservation date, the hotel will charge 50% of the total nights reserved. If cancelled seven or less days prior to reservation date, hotel will charge total amount of stay. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged.
