“We found Madam and her daughter very helpful and friendly and the service at breakfast was very good and cheerful. We really enjoyed our stay - we usually stay in 4-star hotels which are all very much the same. This was a refreshing change and one we shall do again. The only adverse comment we have is that the bath water was only warm. At the end of a day on the golf course the one thing we really enjoy is a hot bath. We did ask for the water to be made hotter and our request was dealt with but it was still not hot enough. The temperature in Majorca when we were there was very low so we needed the heat to warm us up. We enjoyed our stay immensely and were made very welcome.”

The hotel was beautiful -- even more than the pictures. The pool was fantastic, the furnishings were very tasteful. I enjoyed the fact that we were separated in our own apartment. The nearness to Alcudia was very nice. It was a perfect spot to explore the northern part of Mallorca.
Didn't Like:
The weather -- after perfect weather in Madrid, Ibiza -- and after Mallorca -- in Barcelona, the winds and rain that swept through were a disappointment. Nothing much that can be done about that, however, and it only prompts us to consider returning to see everything in sunny weather. The only other thing -- it would have been nice to have a screen over the bedroom windows. So nice to have the windows open and look out at the fruit trees and listen to the sheep bells -- such a surprise when the cat jumped in at midnight, almost as if we were sleeping in his room!”

“The Son Siurana is an absolutely beautiful place to relax and I highly recommend it. The only minor quibble is te distant noise from the Palma - Alcudia road which is fairly constant but not to the extent that it'll bother. The owners are very helpful with recommendations for local attractions and how to avoid the crowds.”

“A lovely setting with beautifully appointed rooms. Unfortunately our room had been recently painted and the smell of paint was awful - so much so that our clothes and bags stank of it for weeks after. We bought scented candles for the room but we couldn't stay in it for long periods of time. The lady who made our breakfast was absolutely lovely but our Spanish wasn't good enought to explain our complaint to and there never seemed to be anyone at reception to talk to. I'm not sure I would return.”
