Palacio de los Granados

Located on one of the most prestigious streets in Écija, El Palacio de los Granados stands on the ancient Roman 'Via Agusta', a road that once connected Rome with the important provinces of its empire. At this lovely new hotel, the standard double rooms are located on the first and second floors, and all can comfortably accommodate two guests with either twin/twin or queen sized beds (with extra long twin beds to accommodate tall guests.) Since the hotel was once a palace, some of the grandest rooms have been converted into suites, each unique and with all the modern conveniences of an upscale hotel, including Queen sized bed, convertible sofa bed, antique furnishings, separate 'living area' , new bathrooms with showers, hand-crafted details and elegant drapery & bedspreads, local TV in rooms, direct-dial telephones and data jacks, central air conditioning and heating. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and the 'tapas' bar is open each afternoon & evening. Guests can also arrange dinner at the hotel with a special 'menu de jour' which features the freshest products available and is served in the garden or courtyard dining room. The concierge can also provide restaurant recommendations and arrange reservations for you at several nearby restaurants - or you can simply explore the winding streets of the town to discover a favorite dining spot. Ecija is a wonderful alternative to Seville for exploring the area - much less crowded.
