Hotel l'Estacio

The Hotel La Estacio is in the centre of a park full of pine trees in Bocairent, Valencia, and is a perfect base from which to explore la Serra Mariola, an ecologically precious area. The hotel was once the Rail station of Bocairent and is of typically Valencian design. Its transformation into a 14 room hotel, complete with bar and restaurant in a wonderfully verdant setting, was masterfully realised by the owners. An interior patio, lounge with fireplace, and a lovely garden complete the building. The en suite rooms are decorated in subtle colours, with wood floors and some beamed ceilings, and have have every convenience. This is a new hotel and there are some special touches still to be completed, but Josefina and Sebastian have added some small, sophisticated, details like aromatherapy kits and fruit baskets in each room. The restaurant serves typical regional cuisine, using fresh local produce and the aromatic herbs of the Sierra. An interesting and relaxing place to stay with plenty of outdoor activities for the more energetic.
