Hotel L'Agora

The hotel is in a manor house built at the beginning of the 20th century, which has been carefully restored and renovated using much of the original architectural material while adding every modern comfort. With just eight ensuite guest rooms on the first and second floors of the building (some of which are attic-style rooms) all are comfortably furnished with complete bathrooms, safety deposit box, telephone, internet access, minibar and air conditioning. Each room is uniquely decorated, some with cane and bamboo furniture, some with antiques or colonial furniture. On the ground floor is the reception and an interior terrace leading to the cafeteria and the restaurant. The hotel's restaurant, El Cancell, offers regional cuisine and serves lunch and dinner. Directed by chef Salvador Hernandez (member of the Asociacion Europea de Cocineros Eurotoques), the restaurant occasionally offers gastronomic days with special menus (price approx. 24-30 euros including tax) as well as a changing daily menu. Half board is also available on request. Located in one of the most interesting areas of the Medieval barrio (with the Church of the Asuncion and the Museo Parroquial, the Museo Arqueologico and various hermitages), the hotel is also in an ideal area for exploring the Sierra de Mariola.
