On the Costa Blanca, north of Alicante at Tarbena (20 km. from the sea in a mountain valley in the nature reserve) is this restored finca surrounded by almond, orange, lemon and fig trees. There are eight spacious ensuite guestrooms (the bathrooms are enormous), pleasantly decorated many with their own balcony or terrace. Enjoy an open-air breakfast or dinner between the palm and lemon trees. There is a swimming pool in the large garden, and several recreation rooms including the sherry bar, open fireplace room (in fact there are nine fireplaces in the building), reading room, cabaret stage, stone cellar, paella-grill and three outdoor barbecues. There is a large sun terrace and in the finca guesthouse there is a sauna, spa bath, soft steam bath, fitness room, and heated indoor pool. The breakfast buffet is served from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Please let your hosts know in advance if you wish to dine at the restaurant (multi-course dinners are available, using fresh local ingredients).
