Where	Ubeda is located near the upper Guadalquivir in the province of Jaen in Andalusia. Approximately 50 km. from Jaen.
When	The least busy times to visit are Spring and Autumn, but the weather is mild year round. One of the main seasonal attractions of the town is the annual music and dance festival in May. It includes opera, jazz, flamenco, chamber music, symphony orchestra and dance.
Why	The town is a UNESCO heritage site and has some spectacular historic buildings. It has a magnificent central square, the Plaza de Vázquez de Molina. The town has more of a Castillian flavor than Andalusian, with its grey granite imposing buildings.
Accommodation	We have a number of beautiful hotels in historic buildings in the centre of town, and several in the surrounding areas. The Parador of Ubeda is also an interesting place to stay.
