It has been extensively and carefully restored conserving the facade and the patio with fountain and has several galleried floors with balconies and windows throughout. There are 33 rooms equipped with air conditioning, internet access and all the conveniences of a modern hotel (and the hotel also has a couple of rooms where triple or quadruple occupancy is possible) . It is located in the Jewish quarter, an area full of history and tradition, and is well located for visiting many of the most important museums and monuments in Toledo such as The Museum House of El Greco, the Synagogue of el Transito, Palace of Fuensalida, Church of Santo Tome and the Cathedral. There is public parking 300 meters from the hotel (and also street parking around the hotel) From this hotel there is a wonderful view of Los Cigarrales - the typical country houses on the banks of the river Tagus. This is larger than most of our small hotels, but the location and friendly service make it a valuable addition to Inns of Spain. Click to make a request for this hotel

Reception staff were knowledgeable but not very friendly and none of them ever smiled. Paying extra for the safe is a practice we have never come across before. We felt it was not made clear about the charge for parking prior to arrival, but that was ok being a major tourist centre, but were rudely told we had to vacate the parking spaces by midday even though we wanted to make more of a day of it so we were there for less than 20 hours

The hotel is very nice. Air conditioning was great. It was quiet and they serve a good breakfast. Most of the sights we wanted to see were in an easy walk of this hotel. The front desk could have been a little friendlier and less reserved. My family and I were in a strange place and a little unsure of ourselves a little warmth at the front desk would have been a little reassuring. Thanks.
