Hotel Abad Toledo

This inn, opened in December 2002, in a building from 1815, is in the heart of Toledo just steps from Puerta del Sol, and within the walled city. It has 22 rooms (doubles and triples) with 6 special suites. The hotel has character, a central location, a calm ambience, courteous service and is spacious. The Manager Tito and his staff will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Inside this old townhouse building the rooms are uniquely decorated and the archictural details are very satisfying. Much of the original wood and brickwork has been restored and there are vistas of the river Tajo. The rooms and suites are all ensuite and the bathrooms are fully equipped and stylish. From this central location, you can walk to the important monuments of Toledo--the cathedral, Alcazar, Sinagoge of the Transiteo and of Sta. Maria la Blanca. There is no restaurant at the hotel (they serve only breakfast) but there are many restaurants in the surrounding areas of all types. It is better to drop off your luggage at the hotel and then take your car to a Parking Lot close by. The hotel can tell you the best place to park.
