Where	Toledo is the capital of Castille la Mancha, located in the center of Spain about 70 km south of Madrid.
When	The weather here is much like Madrid’s - that is a fairly temperate climate with warm, dry summers and fairly cool winters (it can drop below freezing midwinter).
Why	Once the capital of Spain, Toledo offers an incredible selection of cathedrals, mosques, city walls and other examples of ancient and medieval architecture. The old town is a maze of tightly woven streets and buildings ringed in by the river on three sides and the old city walls. The most important festival is Corpus Christi, which occurs nine weeks after Easter.
