Villa Retiro

Located in Xerta, 12 km. from Tortosa, Villa Retiro Monument and Spa is a classic and special hotel in a building originally from 1892 by the architect Josep Fontsera, creator of the Parque Sama de Cambrils. Created in the Modernist style, the hotel has nine guest rooms, two of which are suites. They are equipped with full bathrooms, plasma television, internet, satellite television, DVD, air conditioning, telephone, safe, minibar and towel warmers. Elegantly decorated, they are spacious and relaxing. In the lush garden the spa has its own building, an idyllic place to relax, with swimming pool, solarium, sauna, steambath and a gym. The restaurant Torreó de l’Indià is under the guidance of young Chef Fran López, who was trained at the famous Hoffman Hotel School in Barcelona and furthered his gift for the culinary art at the ADF school in Paris. Finally, he worked side by side with famous Top Chefs at the Hotel Place Athenée Restaurant in Paris which is listed in the world famous Michelin Guide.
