Villa Carmen

Haakon and Agnes will welcome you warmly to this historic house which has been transformed into a comfortable and delightful small hotel, with 3 apartments and five spacious double rooms set in pretty gardens. Villa Carmen has always been an important building from both an historical and architectural viewpoint and now it has been carefully and lovingly restored using as many original materials as possible, while adding modern bathrooms and other comforts. With its arches, terraces, and spacious grounds, the manor house is a step back in time. The double rooms are decorated with beamed ceilings, wood, wrought iron, traditional soft furnishings and antiques. The apartments are fully furnished with salon with fireplace, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen and are self-contained. Only breakfast is served, but in the villages close to Villa Carmen there are restaurants serving regional Mediterranean cuisine, especially seafood. Great base from which to tour the many wine routes including the popular Priorat area.
