Mas Passamaner

Mas Passamaner, near La Selva del Camp, is a hotel in a modernist building designed by the famous architect Domenech I Montaner. It has been recently restored into a splendid five star luxury hotel with twenty six rooms in two buildings. Work on the restoration of this 1920's Masia has been carried out by the architect Ángel García Puertas, who is also responsible for the interior design. The hotel consists of a new wing and the original house. The hotel has nineteen double superior rooms, five suites and two 2-bedroom Royal Suites (with small swimming pools). The hotel is air conditioned and has B. and O. dvd, digital telephone, minibar, safe and internet access. The restaurant, La Gigantea, is overseen by chef Joaquín Koerper (who has achieved 2 Michelin stars at his restaurant El Girasol de Moraira). There is a delightful outdoor pool, an extensive spa-wellness centre, paddle court and a business area. Helipad is on the premises. The staff are friendly and helpful. The complex has been recently completed and this is a very pleasant, interesting place to relax, enjoy modernist architecture, and have some fine food. Various packages are available, including a gourmet package, spa package, wine package and cultural package. There is usually a minimum of six people required for the visits to wineries and wine tasting. The hotel is about 90 km. from Barcelona and 10 km. from Reus airport.
