La Grava Hotel

Situated in the village of El Morell, close to Tarragona, this small hotel has just twelve rooms, each decorated in a different style and each with its own bathroom. The hotel is of new construction and has some very pleasant rooms, with full bathrooms, flat screen television, minibar and air conditioning. A few of the rooms have their own terrace overlooking the pool, some with king and some with twin beds. The special bonus of La Grava is its gastronomic cuisine - it is well-known in the area for its excellence. Using fresh local produce and good local wines, it is a dining experience not to be missed. The style of cooking is fusion+traditional, and the menu changes four times a year seasonally (prices 35-50 euros pp). Breakfasts are extensive. Note: The hotel is not in a particularly pleasant area - there are industrial plants en route which don't add any charm to the approach and there is nothing to do in El Morrell. However, the restaurant - which is closed on Sundays - is a good reason to stay at this little place. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has its own private parking: just stop outside the hotel and they will give you a key to the parking lot and you can access your room from there.
