Click to make a request for this hotel Click to view contact information Click to view larger photos for this hotel The hotel is located just within the old walls of old Seville in the Macarena district, next to the Basilica. It is not centrally located for the old town (probably a 20 minute walk) but is closer to the Feria of Seville grounds. This small hotel was created from a building that was originally an ancient Mudujar palace. It has been skilfully renovated to a small hotel with every modern amenity. Each of the rooms is named after a famous person from the area - from kings to poets - and is decorated in typically Andalusian style with many different examples of local and historical artefacts and art. The amenities include room service, air conditioning, heating, satellite television, telephone, hair dryer in the full bathroom, internet access and a very helpful staff. Some of the rooms have balconies and there are also some no-smoking rooms in the hotel. Meals are in Andalusian style, approximately 25 euros. The bar/restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. There are not many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. Click to make a request for this hotel

Not allocated the room we booked. Room given had following faults :- Shower blocked and smelly and grouting around tiles was dirty. Curtain over wardrobe was torn. Used tealights on display. Room very noisy, area not very nice. We have checked Trip Advisor and realise our comments differ from other people's - perhaps we were just unlucky.Last year we stayed at Hotel Bellas Artes in Jerez and found it excellent in every way.

It was not in the center of old town, in fact we had to walk 2 miles to get to the center. The elevator did not work, we had to use the steps that had candles to light the way, that I might add burned out about 9pm. Went up to the upper patio and it was delightful, but it was so dark coming down the steps we had to hold hands. The rooms were so dark that we could not see to read and the tv didn't even have CNN. They did not have room for our car in the lot so we had to leave it on the street. Dare I go on, I was very disapointed in the hotel and long distance we had to walk to get to the center of "Old Town".
