Hotel Alcantara

This 21-roomed hotel (all rooms ensuite) in the heart of old Seville, just minutes walk from the Cathedral, the Alcazar, the Plaza de Espana, is located in the Barrio de Santa Cruz, near the famous Gardens of Murillo. It is a simple and well-priced hotel that has been recently completely restored and renovated from what was originally a Senorial house from the 18th century . It has been recreated as a bright and comfortable base from which to explore the very best monuments and cultural attractions of Seville. This is an economically priced, simply decorated and centrally located inn (with air conditioning, telephone and satellite television. Hairdryers are available at the front desk). The rooms are compact but the inn is excellent value in a great location. Breakfast only is served, but there are many restaurants and bars in the vicinity, and there is a Public Parking closeby. We have decided to include the Hotel Alcantara in our group for those travellers looking for less expensive accommodation in Seville but in a wonderful location. The entrance is set back from the main street and close to a patio where local flamenco takes place. Despite this central location, the hotel is quiet because it is a pedestrian only area and the hotel has double glazing. Please note that none of the rooms have balconies. Holy Week and Feria : Extra season rates apply. For this period if your stay includes the nights of Thursday, Friday or Saturday of Holy Week and/or Fair, the minimum booking we accept is of 4 nights (i.e.you will have to pay for four nights, regardless of the actual number of nights you stay at the hotel.) In addition, the booking must be fully prepaid as follows: a) A deposit for one night is taken immediately upon booking and b) the balance of complete prepayment must be paid 30 days before your actual date of arrival to the hotel. The payments may be charged to a credit card and are completely non refundable.
