Staff on desk a little unhelpful at first when we said we needed breakfast early the following day as we were going to the airport[not very early but before they began serving]
We then asked for just coffee or water and this also seemed to cause a problem. We purchased water and fruit in the town that night. In the event there was a lovely breakfast of fruit, bread, coffee etc at the time we requested. really very welcome but not sure what the problem was initially, ot was potentially off putting

this was our first night and we didn't know that we should have ordered dinner ahead of time. the staff made us a delicious dinner anyway, eggs and potatoes and the best pimientos de padron in the world! it was just great and the staff was so kind. we loved being there and it was a great introduction to galicia.

When we finally located Casa Antiga is was a true delight and pleasure. I do believe your customers must be informed that the staff only speak a very small amount of English. We went expecting no Enlish at all. The room was fantastic and the leasure facilities were stunning. We were there on personal/business and will most certainly return. We do not believe they were very geared up to prepare food. We are specialists in Pimientos de Padron (reason for our visit) and the hotel's Pimientos left much to be desired. However, please pass our thanks to all at Casa Antiga.

Beautiful home; great staff - very friendly & helpful. Poor directions on how to get there, however. Stayed in the "old house" first night which is beautiful, but noisy due to dogs in neighborhood. They were kind & switched us to the new building that had AC so we could drown out outside noise. We would stay there again, but it is hard to get there for those that are not adventurous,
