General Notes

Santiago de Compostela and the Atlantic coast one hour away. Romance and Monasteries route. You will need to travel into Ourense where there are many excellent restaurants (about 10 minutes drive) However, lunch may be arranged at the hotel if you reserve this in advance, with your booking. There are conference/meeting facilities at this hotel for approximately 60 people.

Deposit: No Deposit Required.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled at least 7 days before reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled 7 days or less before reservation penalty equal to cost of one night per room booked. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged. A 15 euros cancellation fee per room booked will be charged by Inns of Spain on all reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

The land that this building sits on once belonged to the Celanova Monastery, serving as an Episcopal residence (15th century) until it was transferred to the Suarez family who transformed it into a palace—and which today holds a magnificent hotel.The palace is surrounded by beautiful grounds where guests may take long, peaceful walks. The restoration of the buildings was a lengthy process, but care has been taken to preserve the historical features. Every room is uniquely decorated and features some of the family-owned furniture. Marble, porcelain and walnut echo the hotel's rich and colourful past. Pazo Bentraces is located 7km. from Orense and has seven double guestrooms. The palace's swimming pool and gardens are a pleasant way to spend a lazy summer afternoon. There is no restaurant at the Pazo and only breakfast is served.
