Deposit: No Deposit Required.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled at least 7 days before reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled 7 days or less before reservation penalty equal to cost of one night per room booked. In case of no-show, 100% of complete stay charged. A 15 euros cancellation fee per room booked will be charged by Inns of Spain on ANY reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

La Posada Morisca
 
La Posada Morisca is a simple inn consisting of a building with little terraced rooms reminiscent of the style of nearby Frigiliana - terraced, white, simple and Moorish. There are views to the sea and mountains from the twelve, small, en suite guestrooms, each with wood burning stove and terrace. (Guestooms are not air conditioned). Guestrooms are decorated in the mediterranean style, with warm colours, wood ceilings and tiles. The beaches of Nerja are nearby and there is a swimming pool at the hotel. Sara, the creator of La Posada Morisca, is energetic and friendly and will try to make your stay very pleasant. As with most of our other inns, this is off-the-beaten tourist track and is not easy to reach by public transportation, so a car is recommended. Try to arrive in daylight as the road to the hotel is not well-lit and there is a dirt-track driveway for the last few hundred metres. There is a bus from Frigiliana to Nerja, so there is no need to take your car into Nerja if you don't want the trouble of finding a parking spot in this busy town. A client who stayed recently comments "An amazing place, better than we ever expected". Please note that the restaurant is open only for breakfast. No other meals are served.

Major disappointment as restaurant refused to serve/sell tapas or snacks during the evening, though we did not want a full dinner we were hungry. No food available after breakfast (snacks/sandwiches would help). No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No fridge in room. Too far from Frigiliana for easy walking (uphill!)therefore dependant on hotel but facilities poor. Okay for one or two-night stay, not a week or more.

Friendly owner. Great view from upper large balcony if upper rooms, room rather small but adequate. No a/c.. but not a problem in May.

As it was early season it was very cold. There was no form of heating other than wood burning stoves. We therefore had to keep asking the proprietors for wood and lighters which was a little frustrating. Would be good if they stoke up a fire for guests early in the evening rather than us trying to use our cubs/brownie skills to get a fire going. Other than that no complaints at all!
