Rocabella Finca La Torre Cottage

La Torre (the Tower) is surrounded by natural vegetation and has spectacular views over the fertile Guadalhorce valley, giving the cottage unrivalled privacy. The tower is built using traditional terracotta brick, stone, wood and cane. La Torre has a capacity for 2 or 4 people (or a family): on the ground floor there is a circular sitting room/dining room with an attractive fireplace. There is also a bathroom with shower, a bedroom with two single beds and a fully equipped kitchen on this floor. A semicircular staircase winds round the central chimney leading to the upstairs reading room that is flooded with light. On this same floor is the main double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom with Jacuzzi and terrace. For a truly relaxing stay, there is a private swimming pool fed by a pretty waterfall, and surrounded by a garden. Hiking and walking are very popular in this area and this would make a perfect base for exploring the area and taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings. There is a little restaurant servicing the cottages on the finca and there are more in the surrounding area, at El Chorro 3.5 Km and Valle de Abdalajís 4.5 Km away (with a few restaurants, bars, and coffe-shops) These pretty cottages were mentioned in the 2001 Conde Naste top 30 Villas in Europe article.
