La Posada del Torcal

This 10 roomed hotel stands on a hilltop overlooking 11 acres of almond groves, with dramatic views of one of Andalucia`s best-kept secrets, the rock formations of El Torcal National Park. This is an award-winning small hotel in the very heart of Andalucia. All rooms are en-suite and each is unique in design: some have brass, gothic 4-poster beds while others have exquisite wooden furniture made by Andalusian craftsmen. There is a traditional salon, an excellent restaurant and a wide range of facilities to help you really relax...aromatherapy and massage, mountain walks, jacuzzi and sauna. Restaurant La Galeria has a totally new look - a contemporary, light airy feel, complimented by some beautiful artwork by local and international artists. Head Chef Paul Tugwell uses the freshest Mediterranean products to create a daily two-choice, three-course menu. The Zubaran Suite, Goya and El Greco rooms now have the addition of outdoor jacuzzis on their terraces. The hotel offers packages for walking holidays, independent sightseeing with rental car and relaxing three day special breaks. Children over ten years old are welcomed, but due to the hillside location the hotel management feels it is an unsuitable layout for small children. The hotel can be booked for exclusive use throughout the year, on a half board option. It is an ideal hotel for weddings and special occasions.
