Room Mate Laura

Located in the centre of Madrid, in Plaza de las Descalzas Reales, the building is of new construction but keeps the traditional style of the 19th Century. The rooms are perfect for mid and long stays as they include a small kitchen (suites with kitchens units only available for stays of at least seven nights.) Laura has her own personality, designed and decorated by the interior designer Tomás Alía in the avant-garde style, where you can enjoy open spaces that are remiscent of New York loft style. The Laura has thirty six rooms of various types (standard, executive, duplex and penthouse suites). All have fully-equipped bathrooms, plasma TV, free Internet access (wireless system), individual air conditioning and private kitchen. The duplexes are on two floors, one floor with a living room and the other floor with bedroom and bathroom. The location is 30 metres from Plaza Mayor, Puerta Del Sol and Royal Theatre, and 100 metres from Royal Palace Real and Gran Vía Street, a cultural and commercial centre of Madrid. The manager and staff at Laura are particularly helpful. Parking at a public lot nearby is 28 euros a day. Rates will vary from what is listed depending upon events taking place in Madrid.
