A newly opened hotel in the most important industrial building in Madrid constructed by the famous architect López Otero is where Room Mate Alicia is located, in the heart of El barrio de Las Letras, Plaza de Santa Ana - just a few steps away from the triangle of art: The Prado, The Thyssen Bornemisza and The Reina Sofía museums. Designer Pascua Ortega decorated this 34-room hotel. Rooms 401, 402 and 403 have terraces (one with a mini pool). Three suites have lovely views to Plaza de Santa Ana. The standard double rooms are spacious, uniquely decorated and with state of the art bathrooms. The rooms include a writing desk, plasma televisions, minibar, safety box and high-speed Internet access (WI-FI). There is a restaurant on the ground floor and many bars and cafes on the square. The lobby, with its huge windows, is a great place to observe the active life of the Plaza. Rates will vary from what is listed below depending on events taking place in Madrid. This is certainly one of the nicest places to stay in the centre of Madrid. Very important: the rates at this hotel change all the time, depending on the date and the events taking place in the city.
