Traspalacio

This little hospedería is different and unique, with colourful and dynamic spaces and fascinating architecture. Much of the original structure has been retained and enhanced with the addition of latest technology, spacious and comfortable ensuite rooms, great artworks and a delightful restaurant and swimming pool. The twenty one rooms are all different: some in minimalist style, and others with double height rooms (the two storey attic rooms) and all are comfortable and relaxing. There are standard and superior double rooms, junior suites and single rooms. The location of the Traspalacio is Robledo de Chavela, 60 km northwest of Madrid (and 17 km. from Escorial) and 70 km. from the airport. There are two dining spaces, one with a fireplace and porch and with views of the garden and swimming pool, and the style of cuisine is regional. This would be an ideal first-night stay after arriving in Madrid enroute to Salamanca or Segovia and beyond (or last-night stay enroute back to the Madrid airport).
