If the reservation is cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival the remaining amount of the booking will be taken by the hotel. 15 Euros per room booked will be charged by Inns of Spain on all reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.
High Season

Casa Vina de Alcantara

This wonderful old house, concealed in a dense arboreal garden of palms, cypresses, myrtle and bay is the world of Alcántara. It is now a family-owned small country hotel in Jerez - on the road from Jerez to Arcos - and it is a perfect place to relax if you are touring the pueblos blancos, visiting the sherry bodegas, or merely wanting to play a game of golf on the nearby course at Montecastillo. There are only nine comfortable rooms, all decorated subtly in pale earth colours which reflect the hills of the huge estate behind the house. Here and there is a reminder that the property still belongs to the family; a photograph, an antique chest of drawers, a painting or an embroidery. Upstairs, the rooms have steeply beamed roofs, and all the bathrooms in the house have delicately veined white marble surrounds, painted wooden panelled dados, and large shower roses. During the heat of the summer day, Alcántara remains cool and refreshing, and the shady garden becomes an oasis with it's naturally coloured tranquil swimming pool. Enjoy a walk through the vineyards and down to the lake, where ducks and other waterfowl take shelter. It is a good place to take a picnic and spend the afternoon painting.

One of the best places we have stayed at for years. , very beautiful very comfortable and relaxed, excellent staff, only minor criticism is the lack of evening mealsin view of relative isolation.
