Hotel Plaza Nueva

This hotel on the Plaza Nueva in Granada (within walking distance of the Alhambra and in the Albaicin) has 25 double rooms, superior double rooms and junior suites in its 3 stories--and an elevator for the upper floors. The hotel is in an old, refurbished building which was once a Granada townhouse. This is a simple hotel with each room being uniquely decorated. Rooms are air conditioned and have double glazing and have complete bathrooms. There are also many additional features such as satellite t.v., direct dial telephone service, room service, laundry service, baby-sitting service etc. There are also non-smoking rooms available. Parking can be a problem in the Albaicin, but the hotel has 10 parking spaces available to guests just 15 metres from the hotel--you should book parking at the time of making your reservation, at a cost of 16 euros/night. If all these spots are taken, a staff member will help you to the public parking which is a block away. Breakfast only is served but you are at the doorstep of all the cafes in the Plaza Nueva and surrounding areas. The windows are double-glazed in the rooms, but owing to its central location Plaza Nueva is a hubbub of activity. If you enjoy being in the heart of things, and walking to all of Granada's most appealing attractions - the Alhambra, the Cathedral, the cafes, etc., then this simple hotel is ideal.
