Mas Salvi

This very peaceful hotel is in a 17th century Catalan country house surrounded by seventeen acres of gardens and meadows of alfafa and corn. In the original building, there is a large upper attic floor with fireplace and six lovely suites with private terrace, and in a garden annex building, there are another 16 spacious ensuite double rooms with terrace (with views over the countryside). The medieval town of Pals is easily reached from here. The spacious rooms are decorated in Catalan style, with wood, antique furniture, wrought iron features and bright colours and the bathrooms are spacious and modern. The rooms have full bathrooms (with bathtub), telephone, satellite television, air conditioning, and internet access. The comfortable winter salon has a big fireplace, there are 3 bars, and an attractive restaurant serving regional cuisine (with meals served outside in the summer months). There is a heated inside swimming pool (and an outside pool for the summer months) as well as sauna and spa facilities (with massage and beauty services appointments available). The spa offers such interesting treatments as chocolate massage (highly recommended) and wine products massage. There is a lit tennis court in the garden. The hotel is just one kilometre from the medieval village of Pals and five minutes drive to the local beaches.
