Mas Ferran hotel and spa

Mas Ferran is situated just 5 km. from the city of Gerona and less than 30 km. from the beaches of the Costa Brava. The building is a 17th century Catalan farmhouse in 4 acres of grounds set on a high plateau with magnificent views of the Gerona cathedral, the lower Emporda region and Montseny. Ferran Toma refurbished the house retaining its original characteristics, including the wine cellar and an 80 metre deep well. The farmhouse has been decorated in earth-tones with modern and colonial style furnishings. There are twelve spacious, comfortable ensuite rooms (three of which are suites) decorated in contemporary style and with comfortable modern bathrooms. The rooms have internet access, cable television and safe. Breakfasts have a strong regional influence and include cheeses, different types of bread, fruit and fresh juices. In a separate stone building is a health and beauty centre offering an array of therapeutic natural medicine treatments (acupuncture, homeopathy, reflexology, massage) and programmes can be custom-created for you, and last either 2, 5 or 7 days. There are also ample opportunities for more energetic pursuits with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and gym as well as hiking and walking paths in the surrounding natural forested area. The restaurant serves regional cuisine, and there is also a bar.
