Hotel Mas Vilalonga Petit

Mas Vilalonga Petit is just three kilometers from Cassà de la Selva (and a few kilometers from some of the best beaches on the Costa Brava). This charming hotel has just nine rooms and was originally a farmhouse built in 1781. The structure has been carefully restored and renovated with great attention to detail. It is surrounded by fields and woods where you can enjoy walking or birdwatching and there is a pleasant swimming pool in the garden. Each bedroom is named after a tree or an aromatic plant and the rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with a pleasing mix of old and new. There are three styles of room – double superior, junior suite and suite – all with en-suite bathrooms with hydrotherapy bathtub, minibar , 32’’ or 26’’ flat panel television, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, robe, direct line telephone, daily press, heating and air conditioning. The restaurant offers an excellent gastronomic experience, quiet atmosphere with attentive service (please reserve a table in advance). The style of cuisine is traditional Catalan with some innovative surprises, and there is an excellent local and regional winelist. This hotel is in one of the prettiest areas of Girona and the Baix Empordà region and makes an excellent base from which to explore its many attractions. This is a peaceful and romantic place to stay with excellent service.
