Hotel El Ventos

Located within the protected volcanic area of La Garrotxa National Park (Girona), this farm of 400 hectares dating back to the 15th century, is now a hotel with exceptional views of the Pyrenees, the mountains of Collsacabra and the Mediterranean Coast. This ancient seignorial house offers four double guestrooms and independent apartments for up to 5 people. The comfortable double rooms have double or twin beds, wood floors and lovely white linens and are decorated with period furniture. Each has its own modern bathroom. The hotel entrance has an extensive glass wall giving wonderful views to the mountains. The spacious guest living room is in the original rustic style with terracotta floor, stone walls, wooden beams, and a large fireplace. The covered terrace has wicker chairs and endless scenic views. The hotel has a restaurant open to the public, which specializes in à la carte select cuisine, with a good winelist. You may dine in the restaurant or on the terrace in the summer, and chef Oscar will prepare traditional Spanish and regional cuisine.
