El Reces de Corca

El Recés is a charming bed and breakfast inn with just four rooms in a renovated fifteenth century traditional Catalan house in a medieval village. Corçà is located on good main routes for the Costa Brava coast, Dali Museums, Girona city and airports. The four en-suite rooms have their own individual character, some with terrace, balcony or inner patio. The rooms are double or twin bedded, with private bathroom, fridge, tea/coffee facilities, breakfast area, and heating. All rooms are spacious enough to accommodate families, with extra beds added. Bathrooms are modern, combining rustic stone and marble. The original well now houses a glass-bottomed shower. Rooms are serviced daily. The lounge and terraces are on the top floors, and have delightful views over the village and surrounding countryside. The guest lounge has English satellite TV and DVD facilities. The hotel serves only breakfast, but the tapas bar and restaurants in the village are a minute's walk away. Breakfast is served in your room, or in good weather on the terrace. The nearest beach is about twenty minutes away by car. Golf packages can be arranged and package prices cover accommodation at El Recés de Corçà, green fees for any of the listed golf courses or golf tuition with Jane Fernley, PGA Professional. Open all year. A pretty, friendly place to stay. NOTE: don't trust your Sat-Nav in many parts of Spain - Corçà is easy to find on main routes - better to use your map.
