Hotel Los Omeyas

The Hotel Los Omeyas is situated in the heart of the Barrio Judio, declared a World Heritage Site, just 20 metres from the Mezquita-Catedral and close to the many interesting sights of Cordoba ( Torre de la Calahorra, Alcazar, museums). This is an unpretentious, simple hotel constructed of white marble in the Moorish style, respecting the architectural heritage of old Cordoba. There is a pleasant bar where you can enjoy breakfast in the morning and a refreshing drink later in the day. The hotel's restaurant is about 100 metres from the hotel. The interior patio, around which the rooms are arranged, gives a bright feeling to the hotel. The rooms are simple and comfortable, each with its own complete bathroom, air conditioning, telephone, safe, colour television and (very important in Cordoba) its own garage spots that are a short distance from the hotel. The decor is typically Cordoban, with dark woods and dark red furnishings. This little hotel represents great value for money in the best location in town. If you are arriving by train, take a cab to the mesquita and it is possible then to walk to the hotel. Use a good map as the old town is a maze of little streets that are a joy to wander.
