Murias de Paredes is a typical mountain village and the surroundings offer many opportunities for outdoor activities. If you enjoy walking, there are trekking routes, such as the "Fuente de Omana" or the "Ribera de Omana". There are also guided walks in the summer months for all levels of fitness, such as 'La Ruta de las Zancas' in the region of La Omanuela and 'El Oro de Roma' in the region of Las Omanas. More advanced mountaineers can walk up several peaks in the area: el Tambaron, el Nevadin, el Catoute...all of them over 2000 metres high.

Deposit & Canc. Pol.

Deposit: 50% of Total Stay Amount

Cancellation Policy: If the reservation is cancelled 7 days or more prior to arrival the hotel will refund the 50% deposit. If the reservation is cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival the deposit will be kept by the hotel. The deposit can however be credited towards a future stay. A 15 euro cancellation fee per room booked will be charged by Inns of Spain on any reservations that are confirmed and then cancelled by the client. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

El Urogallo

Omana is one of the most unspoilt regions in the mountains of Leon. Full of peaceful woods and paths for walking, the area is home to El Urogallo, located in the centre of Murias de Paredes. In a nineteenth century stone house, with slate roof (typical of the region), the hotel is on three levels. On the ground floor is reception, a restaurant and a lounge with big fireplace. On the first floor are four double rooms and a quadruple room, all with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor there is a triple bedroom and a separate apartment that sleeps six in two separate bedrooms, with a separate sitting room and en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have views to the valley, the river Omana and a beech wood. The house has gas central heating and it is equipped with tv, video, dvd and a hi-fi - and is surrounded by a landscaped garden. The restaurant, for guests only, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (the lunches and dinners need to booked in advance).
