The hotel doesn't have rooms for families, but they can put maximum of two extra beds in big rooms toaccommodate a family. On request they can also provide babycot for no cost.

Cultural tourism: visit Las Medulas, a natural heritage site (60 km.), Leon 46 km. Ponferrada 50 km. Visit the villages of Maragateria region 10 km. from the hotel. Golf, trekking, hunting, fishing, cycling and tennis in the area.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled more than 7 days prior to reservation date, no hotel penalty. If cancelled less than 7 days prior to reservation date, one night will be charged by the hotel. No show, or cancellation within 24 hours of stay, full amount will be charged by the hotel. Inns en Route will charge 15 euros per room booked if a confirmed reservation is subsequently cancelled. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

The hotel is in an eighteenth century building that formerly housed the Santiago Pilgrims Hospital, preserving the facade of the chapel bearing the same name, and an adjoining building created by the architect Cardenas in 1906. It is located in the city centre of Astorga, just a few metres from the Cathedral, the Gaudi Palace and the Roman walls. With its 19th century garden, it is a delightful place to stay and ideal for exploring the city. Meticulous care was taken in its restoration and refurbishment, and it now has the most modern of amenities in its four suites and six double rooms. There is no restaurant at the hotel but there is an agreement with a local restaurant to serve evening meals and lunches when ordered in advance. The cuisine is traditional and local and meals are available for lunch and dinner.
