El Cocheron 1919

In the beautiful town of Aranjuez, declared a Patrimonio de la Humandid (world heritage site), is this small hotel located close to the gardens and the Palace (and on a quiet side road). The building has been skilfully renovated and has a warm, attractive ambience. With ten double rooms, five single rooms, two triple rooms and a family suite for five, the hotel is on two floors with a 'corrala' in the centre in the traditional Aranjuez style. The rooms have every comfort, including air conditioning and heating, television, internet access and, of course, full bathrooms. Only breakfast is served, but 24 hour room service is available, and there are many restaurants in the vicinity. With its location less than 40 km. from Madrid, and within easy reach of the historical towns of Toledo and Chinchon, it is a perfect place to start a tour of Spain. The hotel does not have private car parking, but there is usually space outside the building.
