La Brena

This new small hotel in los Canos de la Meca has just seven spacious, pleasant rooms all with full bathrooms and with superb marble floors throughout. Some rooms have twin beds and others have one large bed. Rooms 1 and 2 have an additional sofabed, so they can accommodate two adults and two children. The two attic rooms have their own small terrace. Recently completed, it has a restaurant and a pleasant dining terrace where Andalucian regional cuisine is served (menu around 20 euros). The hotel is located at the end of the road at Los Canos, within steps from a gorgeous beach and very close to the natural park where you can hike for hours. Los Canos is popular with windsurfers and surfers, those who love hiking and beach lovers. Los Canos is a small, sleepy place with a sixties feel to it (and with some unfortunate ugly buildings along the way) but its gorgeous beaches have long been known to just a few -- and now the town is being "discovered". There are some bars and restaurants in the town and in the surrounding countryside. There is secure parking on site.
