Family Info

For a family of 3 they can put an extra bed or cot in the room. For a family of 4 the only choice to have the suite where there is a sofa-bed in the living room.

30% deposit required upon booking. Between June 1 and Aug 31, 10% discount in accommodation, but not half board nor extra beds.

One of the special features of Gran Canaria is the range of microclimates that can be found in on the island, producing grape varieties have a vast range of oenological characteristics. The wines produced here are also particularly special because most of the vines were introduced before phylloxera devastated European vineyards.

Deposit: 30% of Total Stay Amount

Cancellation Policy: If the reservation is cancelled 15 days or more prior to arrival the 30% deposit is refunded. If the reservation is cancelled 15 days or less prior to arrival the 30% deposit is not refunded by the hotel. In case of no show the total amount of the stay will be charged by the hotel. A 15 euro administrative cancellation fee will be made, per room booked, by Inns en Route Inc. for all confirmed reservations that are subsequently cancelled. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee will be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

The Maipez Rural Hotel is situated in La Calzada, in the north of Gran Canaria, just ten minutes to the capital and fifteen minutes to the airport. The Maipez is located in one of the most beautiful spots of the island, in the heart of the Guiniguada Gully, a volcanic rock area (this is where the name Maipez comes from). The hotel is an old canarian country house built at the beginning of the last century and has been meticulously restored and renovated. There are eight double ensuite rooms, one with a terrace and two suites. In the house is a living and dining room for guests, a restaurant and terrace. The restaurant serves delicious regional food in a very natural environment.
