Hotel La Antigua Estacion

This small hotel is ideally located in the countryside close to Villamartin, convenient for excursions to Seville, Ronda, Arcos and Jerez (and other fascinating areas of Andalusia). The Old Station House of Villamartin is situated at the beginning of the Green Line, in a beautiful spot in the foothills of Cadiz. It is a solid building befitting its era, in a typical southern architectural style, which has been refurbished as a charming Hotel. The wonderful climate of the area and the beautiful green countryside make this a perfect place both for quiet relaxation and for those seeking a more active holiday including cultural visits and sporting activities. The delightful young owners, who speak English, German, French and Spanish, have put tremendous energy into creating this hotel. The rooms are simple but comfortable and the activities available are boundless - for example, horseriding, kayaking, biking, hot air ballooning and gliding in the land surrounding the hotel are just few (there is a landing strip close to the hotel for practice). The hotel is on part of 'the green line' where one can walk, bike or horseride a trail for almost 50 km. The interesting town of Villamartin is within walking distance (ten minutes) and there are many restaurants there (although meals may also be taken at the hotel). There is a pool and outdoor bar area in the spacious grounds.
