Casacinco

CasaCinco is a ‘Casa Rural’ (small country guesthouse) set 200m above sea level in Vejer de la Frontera, 10 minutes from the virgin beaches of the Costa de la Luz. Vejer has all the amenities of a country town, including restaurants, café bars, shops and a few historical monuments. CasaCinco is a townhouse with a Moorish past and was once a run-down ruin. Now sympathetically restored it retains many original features, including its internal Arabic style ‘Riyadh’ (open-air internal courtyard). At CasaCinco you’ll experience relaxed but personal service, stylish and comfortable surroundings and informal dining that fuses the best local dishes, with the modern trend for the ‘gourmet - nomad’. (Restaurant open only twice weekly in high season and once a week in low season, but there are many local restaurants in the vicinity). The Casa is in one of Vejer’s narrow, cobbled, traffic-free streets with views of the coast and Africa beyond. All the rooms have double beds, en-suite (open plan) shower / bathrooms and holistic bathtime treats and the comfortble beds are dressed in 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. Rooms at CasaCinco have CD players, so you can create your own music environment, and are individually furnished reflecting the eclectic taste of the owners, who have filled the rooms with items bought on their extensive travels. Some rooms are standard double and some are studio suites. Bookings are for a minimum of two nights and as the surroundings are unsuitable for small children, the Casa cannot accept guests under 16 years of age. No extra beds are available.
