Fashion Designer Antonio Miro has created this special 50 room hotel (on ten floors), located between the Museum of Fine Arts and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. In itself a work of art, the rooms and public spaces of the hotel are of superb design. The bright rooms have flat-screen tv, internet access, dvd, twin or double beds, and full bathrooms and are in minimalist colors of beige, black and white. Velvet curtains can be found in unexpected places, bathrooms are integrated into the room, traditional materials are combined with the latest technology. There is a fitness centre and spa for relaxation, and a popular cocktail/music bar. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. The Miro bar offers modern and international light meals and snacks (average price 25 euros). The staff offer personal, friendly service. We are offering this hotel in Bilbao in response to the many requests for a good hotel close to the Guggenheim Museum -- and it does not get much better than this. Please note that extra beds for adults are not available. Sunday brunch from 12:30-15:30 (30 euros), live jazz every other Thursday. Transfers from airport 30 euros. Spa and gym use included in the room price. As of mid-August, the hotel’s gym is closed for renovations. The massage service will continue to be available.
