Hotel Pampinot

The building which houses the Hotel Pampinot, built in 1587, has been declared a historic monument. Now a small, elegant and luxurious hotel with just eight delightful guestrooms, guests may still enjoy the original architectural features - beamed and painted ceilings, ironwork, columns, wood floors and stonework. The rooms are decorated with antiques and all have their own bathroom and are equipped with a flat screen television with dvd player, satellite tv, safe, wifi internet access (personal computer available at no extra cost) and telephone. The staff are helpful, and multilingual. The hotel is located inside the old, walled town of Hondarribia (also known as Fuenterrabia), and is well located for exploring the many attractions of this area. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but has a collaboration with the nearby Restaurant Sebastian. If you prefer to dine in your room or in the hotel lounge this can be arranged. The gourmand breakfast at the Pampinot (which may be served in the tea room or your own room) is exceptional.
