Hotel Pulitzer

Located in the heart of the historic centre is this four star, cosmopolitan, boutique hotel. Featured in a multitude of design magazies, it is the newest and most prestigious hotel in town. When commissioned to remodel the Pulitzer, Lazaro Rosa Violan, the interior designer, was set the challenge of incorporating great design, light and luxury into an unhotel-like setting. The lobby is palatial and the main areas have fireplaces, a Sicilian alter from the Baroque period period in the reception area, white leather sofas and chairs, enormous art works, and large oversized flower vases placed all over the hotel. The colour scheme and dominant materials are black, white, gold, mingled with wood tones and white leather. The guestrooms are equipped with everything to guarantee a comfortable and luxurious stay: Plasma TV, Cable TV, 2 Telephone lines, ADSL/ WIFI, Security Box, Mini-bar, Dressing gowns and hair dryer in the fully equipped bathroom. There are eighty five standard rooms decorated in wood, leather and natural textiles, with either a queen bed or twin beds. The bathrooms are gray marble or slate with bathtub/handheld shower combination. The five superior rooms are more spacious and more luxuriously decorated. The suite is 40m2 with a 30m2 terrace/solarium, canopied bed, hydro massage bath and aromatic essential oils, and a 42 inch Plasma TV. Perfect for a honeymoon or anniversary. The restaurant is truly a unique space combining the best Mediterranean cuisine blended with subtle oriental touches.
