Hotel Duquesa de Cardona

Located in the maritime promenade of Barcelona with views over the Port and in the heart of the Gothic quarter is this 16th century building which has been creatively and beautifully restored to a forty room hotel with an intimate feel. There are twenty seven classic double rooms, eight deluxe double rooms some with queen-size bed and some with twin beds. There are five newly created spacious junior suites with views over the Barcelona Port. All rooms have a bathroom with bath tub and shower. The hotel is in an ideal location for those taking Cruise Ships from the Barcelona Port - a five minute taxi drive (or a short walk if you are feeling energetic). There is a restaurant and 24 hour room service (starting October 1 the restaurant will serve a la carte dinners Thursday through Saturday and a menu of the day for lunch. On the top floor is a lovely terrace, bar and splash pool with views over the harbour. Parking is next to the hotel and the concierge will happily help organize tours, visits to museums, advise on special restaurants and Barcelona's extraordinary attractions. There is wi-fi throughout the hotel (extra charge for this). Massages in your room can be arranged by the concierge. This hotel is somewhat larger than our other offerings but it has the feeling and quality of a small, intimate hotel - we are confident our clients will enjoy the luxurious rooms with flat-screen t.v., bathrobes in the bathrooms and some interesting views. The first three floors of the hotel are non-smoking. Please note that three adults cannot be accommodated in a double room - extra beds are only for children 2 - 12 years old.
