Son Barbassa

This delightful finca-agroturismo in the Levante Mallorquin has recently opened in a building which dates back to the 16th century. The privileged location, in the locality of Capdepera-Cala Ratjada is near the beaches of Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla and, for golfers, to the courses of Capdepera, Canyamel, pula and Son Servera). With just twelve rooms, two of which are suites with terrace, they are charmingly decorated and have, of course, full bathrooms with jacuzzi baths or hydrotherapy showers, hairdryer, and robes. Each room has its own character and all have air conditioning, television, minibar, safe and internet access. The dining area is situated on the terraces between the carob trees and a large swimming pool with panoramic views adds to the relaxing feel of this small hotel. All sort of water sports are offered close by. Th medieval Castle with its imposing position high above the town of Capdepera and surrounded by Arta mountains make this a dramatic setting and within the estate are the ruins of the Talayotic village of Son Barbassa, nearly 3000 years old.
