In the beautiful surroundings of Asturias is this elegant, romantic retreat. Manolo, who speaks excellent English and who gracefully cares for his guests, has restored an 18th century Asturian house with a medieval tower, located in a spectacular setting of green countryside and cliffs. Manolo will tell you the route to walk through his garden down to the sea. The interior decoration is a perfect blend of original and modern: walls are painted in lively colours and the furniture is modern. One of the most attractive areas is the lounge, which is spacious and light with a fireplace. Guests can savour breakfast served in a glass-roofed lounge with views of the sea, the medieval tower and the lush green countryside. All rooms are equipped with a television, telephone and a private lounge area which in some cases is a glass-roofed terrace. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with tasteful modern furniture and there is exquisite art everywhere. Breakfast includes home-made jams, fresh pastries, cakes, cream biscuits, crêpes and other local delicacies. Don’t miss the sunset over the sea from the porch. The hotel is located 83km from Oviedo and has ten double rooms. Manola is a thoughtful and gracious host and you will certainly receive a warm welcome at this beautiful little inn. Let Manola know in advance and a regional dinner will be prepared for you. Please note that the hotel does not accept AMEX. Click to make a request for this hotel

First Class, we were made very welcome. We had evening meals in the hotel, although the scheduled times were very late the chef came in early to prepare meals for the english guests.
