Click to make a request for this hotel Click to view contact information Click to view larger photos for this hotel The hotel, at a bend in the road, is very unassuming, but Pilar and Pedro have restored this 16th century house to a unique small hotel. In the minimalist style, with neutral tones, glass is the main feature; the views of the surrounding green mountains, seascape and nearby church are breathtaking. Pilar is a delightfully warm, enthusiastic host and although she does not speak English, communication is certainly not a problem. There is usually an English-speaking member of the staff on call. The bedrooms are furnished with an ultra-modern touch and interesting artworks abound. This is a perfect spot from which to explore the Cantabrian coast and nearby fishing villages. The restaurant is very special with one Michelin star. Half board including wine is available. Hotel accepts only Visa, Eurocard and Servired. Click to make a request for this hotel

Excellent rooms. Food was delicious and well presented. Charming host and hostess. We want to return and stay a little longer.

Our only problem was communication - partly our fault as we don't speak Spanish but there was no one in the hotel to help with this - and I think you said there was always a English speaker available. Breakfast excellent but the time of dinner for travelling English very very late!

this was an experience to remember for the whole family. the owners, pilar and pedro, and all the staff could not possibly have been more obliging and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. the hotel itself is lovely and well appointed and the setting is beautiful. the food was fantastic too. in many ways this was well beyond what anyone could expect in a hotel and we will certainly return there sometime. pilar and pedro should be commended for there incredible hospitality.

WOW! You would never guess this is such a nice hotel from your "first impression" upon driving up to the entrance. At first, we thought we had made a big mistake, because it osrt of looked like a cheap truck stop. Wow - were we ever wrong! My wife said that this was her favorite place for our 3 weeks in northern Spain. She even liked it better than the Hotel Real in Santander. How's that for an endorsement!!
