Surfing at Longara's beach. Sailing. Canoeing, boat trips on Ribadeo river, trekking, mountain biking, excursions to the surrounding mountains and coastline. Gastronomy of the area.

Deposit: No Deposit Required.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled at least 7 nights prior to reservation, no hotel penalty. If cancelled less than 7 nights prior to reservation, one night will be charged. No show, full amount of stay will be charged. A deposit may be required in high season. A 15 euro admin. cancellation fee will be charged by Inns en Route Inc. on each room confirmed reserved and subsequently cancelled. The Inns of Spain cancellation fee may be credited towards any future bookings within 12 months.

Casa do Merlo

The large walled house of Cima Merlo is surrounded by forested mountains at the limits of the flat Cantabrian planes and is situated just 500 metres from Las Pasadas Beach (bordering the awe-inspiring beach of Las Catedrales). Built at the time of the flourishing Cuban warehouses at the end of the nineteenth century, this Colonial-style house was fully restored and is now a charming small hotel. The hotel has a romantic atmosphere, with its open fireplaces and the sound of the waves, its inner gardens and old stone interiors. There are ten rooms in the hotel, each uniquely decorated. One has a gallery and one suite can accommodate four people, all with full bathrooms of course and with satellite television and telephone. The dining room offers informal regional meals (dinner approx. 12-15 euros pp)
