Introduction

Where

The eastern portion of Spain's southernmost autonomous region - Andalucia. 

When

 There is a wide range of weather in Andalucia, due mostly to the proximity of the mountains and the Mediterranean.  It can be quite cold in the mountains at night and during the winter, but very hot in the summers - spring and fall are recommended for the most comfortable weather.

Why

 There is much to see and do in Andalucia as the region ranges from the coastal cities of Malaga and Nerja, to the mountainous regions around Granada and Jaen.  There is a rich cultural history in the region with the strong Moorish influences.
